Senior Design Capstone
Our team designed a solution built to tackle the stresses and fatigue associated with working from home during the pandemic. The design motivation was to make a product that can get you out of your room and utilize more areas of the home as productive space.
We built the DeskBuddy that can be used as a lap desk, seated desk, and standing desk. It can be locked at multiple positions, making it usable for users of all heights. I surveyed prospective users during feature creation, designed a fully flexible assembly in Solidworks, and built the prototype seen in the images below.
