Performed 33 unique systems tests on 19 product development projects, which involved executing precise test procedures on furniture samples in diverse stages of development, iterating through prototype stages alongside senior engineers, and writing detailed reports to document testing.
Enhanced productivity of test lab technicians by implementing 5S organization methodology and presented a framework containing plans to expand to the five other worldwide testing complexes.
Consolidated over 500 outdated test specifications into a streamlined Microsoft Excel database which bridges the gap between engineers and test technicians with 17% faster access to updated procedures.
Designed and fabricated an adjustable load bearing apparatus (shown right) to support a 500 lb BIFMA load bag in order to lengthen lifespan of the lab hydraulic press.
